Our Mission
We believe self-understanding is the foundation of a better life. Our mission is to make personality discovery accessible to everyone — regardless of language, background, or budget.
Unlike other personality tests that rush you through dozens of questions, we begin with a guided breathing ritual. This brief moment of mindfulness helps you quiet external noise and connect with your authentic self. Research shows that even short mindfulness exercises improve self-awareness and lead to more genuine self-assessment.
Why We Built This
Personality assessments changed the way we understand ourselves and others. But most existing tools feel clinical, outdated, or locked behind paywalls. We wanted to create something different:
- Free forever — No premium tiers, no paywalls, no "unlock your full results" gimmicks
- Mindful approach — A breathing ritual before testing creates a threshold moment that elevates the entire experience
- Beautiful design — Personality discovery should feel as profound as it is. Clean, modern aesthetics honor the depth of the content
- Bilingual — Full English and Traditional Chinese support, because personality has no language barrier
- Science-based — Built on cognitive function theory, not pop psychology stereotypes
Our Approach
Our assessment is based on Carl Jung's theory of cognitive functions, as developed by Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers. We measure four dimensions:
- Energy — Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I)
- Information — Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N)
- Decisions — Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F)
- Lifestyle — Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P)
Each question maps to a specific cognitive function, and our scoring algorithm accounts for both the direction and intensity of your responses to produce nuanced results. We also incorporate a fifth dimension — Soul Stability (S₊ / S₋) — which draws from Big Five emotional stability and cognitive openness to measure your inner resilience under stress and change.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the test free? Do I need to register?
Completely free, no registration required. Just hit "Take the Test" and you're in. No credit card, no email, no account — nothing.
What's the breathing exercise before the test for?
It's the thing that sets us apart from every other test out there. Three slow breaths help clear your head — filtering out today's stress, that argument you had this morning, or just general brain fog. The goal is to get answers from the real you, not the frazzled version of you who just checked their inbox.
You can skip it, but honestly give it a shot at least once. The difference is noticeable.
What's the difference between Quick and Full mode?
Quick mode is 25 questions, about 5 minutes, and gives you your four-letter type with accurate dimension scores. Full mode is 70 questions, around 10 minutes, and adds a ranked breakdown of your cognitive function stack — more depth, higher precision.
First time? Start with Quick. If you want to go deeper, come back for the Full version.
I got a different result when I retook the test. Is it inaccurate?
Not necessarily. If one of your dimensions scores close to 50/50 — say E 52% vs I 48% — your result can flip depending on your mood that day. That actually tells you something useful: you're genuinely balanced on that axis.
For best results, answer based on how you've typically been throughout your life, not just how you've felt this week or how you wish you were.
My results differ from other websites. Is that normal?
Totally normal. Different sites use different questions, scoring models, and theoretical frameworks. Our True Soul Personality Indicator® calculates cognitive functions and Big Five traits together, layered with breathing calibration — it's fundamentally different from tests that only look at four letters.

What are S₊ and S₋?
Soul Stability — our proprietary fifth dimension. S₊ means you tend to stay grounded when things get chaotic or stressful. S₋ means you're more sensitive to external stimuli and emotional input.
Neither is better. S₋ people often have stronger creative instincts and empathy. S₊ people tend to handle pressure and uncertainty without burning out. Knowing where you land helps you take better care of yourself.
What's the difference between the fun quizzes and the main test?
The main test is a full personality assessment — it gives you your complete type profile. The fun quizzes (things like Social Battery, Spirit Animal, Stress Response) are quick 5-question bits designed to be shareable and entertaining.
If you enter your MBTI type before taking a fun quiz, you'll get a personalized interpretation on top of the general result. Worth doing the main test first.
Is my data safe?
We don't store your answers. All calculations happen locally in your browser. There's no account system, no database quietly logging what you select. No third-party ads, no selling data to anyone.
